We are delighted to welcome you to the 15th International Symposium on Antimicrobial Agents and Resistance (ISAAR) 2026 cum Annual scientific meetings of the Hong Kong Society for Infectious Diseases (HKSID) and Hong Kong Society of Microbiology and Infection (HKSMI) taking place in the vibrant city of Hong Kong from June 12 to 14, 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This year, we gather under the pressing theme of Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) — a challenge that transcends borders and demands our collective expertise and commitment.

Organized biennially by the Asia Pacific Foundation for Infectious Diseases (APFID), ISAAR provides a platform for research information and international academic exchange in the field of infectious diseases and AMR. ISAAR 2026 is proudly co-organized by the Hong Kong Society for Infectious Diseases (HKSID) and the Hong Kong Society for Microbiology and Infection (HKSMI). ISAAR 2026 will provide an ideal platform that attracts researchers and experts in the field of infectious disease, microbiology, public health, pharmaceuticals and biomedical sciences to foster collaboration, share innovative research ideas and findings, advancing our understanding to infectious diseases and explore effective strategies to combat AMR.
